GCNYC’s ‘The Frontline of Fashion: Imagining an Equitable Future for Retail Employees’ panel brings together a panel of diverse stakeholders with Ron Thurston, VP of Stores for Intermix and author of Retail Pride: The Guide to Celebrating Your Accidental Career, Chelsea Connor, Director of Communications and Media Relations for the Retail, Wholesale and Department Store Union, Stephanie Luce, Professor of Labor Studies at the School of Labor and Urban Studies and a Professor of Sociology at the Graduate Center, City University of New York (CUNY), and Scot Case, VP of CSR and Sustainability for the National Retail Federation, for a dynamic and engaging conversation about creating a more equitable future for retail workers while envisioning the next stage of fashion retail facilitated by GCNYC alumna and Mia Lupo.
